I am 5'9" and I have dated men my height and 1 inch shorter before. I’ve also dated taller men. It’s not usually important to me. But I do understand what it’s like to be judged as lacking in some way on the genetic front. Not sure what we can really do as these love preferences seem to be deeply wired, sometimes since childhood.

I will say that a lot of men specify women’s weight, height, measurements, and especially age. If we could drop the height requirement for men, let’s also stop requiring women to be younger than the man they date.
