I am as liberal as they come, and I agree with that Harper’s letter that everyone fucking hated.

I am worried about the chilling of free speech in an environment where people get fired and deplatformed for stating unpopular views. This does not mean I agree with their views. I want their views to come out in debate and be outargued and demolished by facts and reason, not by silencing them.

What an 80s rock star tweeted or retweeted doesn’t make any difference to me.
