I don’t think of Laverne Cox as any different from Kim Kardashian and sisters. They are both performing the most extreme expression of femininity in our modern culture, where it would seem the so-called “Ultimate Female” in our society (in terms of value) is equivalent to a Billion Dollar Whore. Since I’ve never wanted to be that and I do not wish to be “valued” in that way and I certainly do not want to enter the competition for who can be what our vulgarian culture would dub “The Most Expensive Piece of Ass on the Planet,” neither one’s wardrobe, makeup, or hairstyle has any relevance for me. My ideals of femininity are different enough from these to be from another planet. For me the whore look belongs to anyone who wishes to adopt it and I see no distinction between an AFAB woman and a trans woman.
