I find his Golden Globes speeches bracing and refreshing. For me he is not always laugh out loud funny, but he is original and unexpected. I like that he doesn’t treat Hollywood actors like Gods or heroes because they are not. They are extremely overpaid entertainers. And I agree with him — I don’t care about Hollywood movies. Haven’t for years. They have nothing for me. The people who create them do not have me in mind. However I don’t agree that I am not interested in movies period. I love some indies and many foreign films that are outside the Hollywood formula.
