If you dig deeper into the “white women voted for Trump” trope, which I am pretty sick of as part of the 47% who didn’t, you will see that if you separate married white women from single white women the statistics diverge radically. A much bigger majority of married white women voted Trump, and a much bigger majority of single white women voted against Trump. The part about married white women actually proves your point. The white women who are male-identified in life (derive their identity in relation to a man) voted much more closely to how white men voted. Of course, I am still going to acknowledge that millions of married white women still voted for Hillary, lest we “erase” them with these monolithic cohorts.

I have never depended on other people for my well-being, prosperity, status, achievement. I welcome the unraveling of white supremacy.
