No politician in our government can get things done without compromise. A platform of absolute partisan purity will never win you the friends and support you need to win an election. It sounds like Warren is crazy like a fox with her cultivating the defense industry. This is one of the few industries that is able and willing to spend what it takes to elect someone president in this country.

That being said, Warren isn’t my choice for candidate because I don’t think she has enough crossover appeal. She has been the greatest Democratic gadfly for the last 5–10 years. She’s our pitbull and can be counted on to lead the attack on stupid Republican ideas. But you can only be the attack dog OR the President who unites enough people to win the popular vote.

Bernie isn’t even a Democrat and he’s out of his freakin’ mind so I don’t give a damn what defense bill he did and didn’t vote for. I will never vote for him in this life or the next one.
