There were reports of tourists being allowed to enter with fake Covid tests, enjoy closed beaches, and have destination weddings when Bahamians had to postpone or cancel their own events.

Your government needs to put its foot down, and the Bahamian people have to hold their government accountable for these decisions. Your government should be pushing back against the U.S. and other governments and asking for medical help and resources with the Covid situation.

Unless someone with power and money does a public service campaign about helping Bahamians in this crisis rather than demanding it reopen I doubt the spoiled American tourists are going to change their attitude.

Also, would be great if someone (government? non-profit?) set up a grant scheme to help Native Bahamians start their own businesses.
