This is just one of dozens/hundreds of navel-gazing exercises that have been put out over the last 50 years. I was told about the Enneagram when I was a student at Berkeley (big surprise) in the late 80s. At some point people I knew were talking about the book and what “number” they were, and what it all meant, blah blah blah. Then it passed on to something else. That that book from back then has now turned into a movement is a bit mind-boggling. That it has attracted Christians seems odd to me as well. It’s like finding out there’s a huge movement behind Color Me Beautiful (“I’m an Autumn.”)
